1) HOW
CAN I HELP?
You can help most especially with
your prayerful support of our mission to build a
monastery and a chapel. And of course, being dependent
upon the generosity of others, the nuns rely upon your
financial assistance, as well. Your financial support
turns our dreams into reality.
Check out our "How
Can I Help" page for more details

2) DO
YOU HAVE A WISH LIST?
We have a wish list of chapel
appointments, ranging from beautiful, hand-carved
statues, a tabernacle to wooden reredos and pews that
are awaiting a generous benefactor. The
same goes for the building and break-down of the
monastery cells and administrative offices and living
quarters. If you are interested please email Sr. Marie
André at

3) CAN
YOU USE MY SERVICES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT?
We would be appreciative of any
services that could be donated toward the construction
project. If you are interested please email Sr. Marie
André at
desertnuns@msn.com

4) WHAT
IS THE TIMELINE FOR THE PROJECT?
Construction on the Chapel has begun and is progressing very quickly. Schedule completion date for the Chapel is Sept. 2010. The modular homes are scheduled to be completed and ready for occupancy Summer 2010. Plans for the Monastery are completed as well, however the progression of this project depends on funding. Consider helping to turn this dream into a reality by making a tax deductible donation to Our Lady of Solitude Monastery Building Fund!

5) CAN
I VISIT THE NEW SITE NOW?
Currently, because the site of the
new monastery and chapel in Tonopah is under
construction, there will be no visitors. However,
we hope to have an "open-house" for the public once the
building of the chapel is completed.

|
6) WILL THE PUBLIC BE
ABLE TO VISIT THE NEW COMPLEX?
The chapel will be open to the
public for adoration and daily Mass. We also will have
a gift shop and facilities to provide priestly
conferences and silent retreats for the laity.
