“Open wide your door to the One Who comes. Open your soul, throw open the depths of your heart to see the riches of simplicity, the treasures of peace, the sweetness of grace. Open your heart and run to meet the Sun of Eternal Light that illuminates all men.” – St. Ambrose

2021 has passed in a blink of the eye!  Yet it has been filled to the overflowing with graces, gifts, joy, and new beginnings!  On August 11th, Bishop Olmsted solemnly blessed our recently completed new monastery.   This was the crowning glory of the year!…of the past 10 years!  The new Monastery allows us to live the fullness of our monastic enclosure and contemplative life.  Truly, it is a gift from the Lord.  We are profoundly grateful to everyone who helped make this possible.  Since August, we have been enjoying a litany of “firsts” in the new Monastery – and now we are on the threshold of celebrating our first Christmas here!  As the joy of the Birth of Christ fills the corridors of the monastery (and of our hearts!), know of our intercessory prayer for our benefactors and all who have entrusted their intentions to us.
