Sr. John-Mark Maria recently captured this lovely photo

Time flies!

and no matter how much you pull against the leash…there’s no stopping it!

And so, somehow, we find ourselves at the end of October!

It started out beautifully here at Our Lady of Solitude Monastery with the celebration of the Solemnity of Our Holy Father Francis on October 4th.

Just days after this joyful celebration, we were blessed to host the first of many Desert Morning of Prayer and Discernment – organized through the Office of Consecrated Life.  It was a lovely morning.  The next one is planned for Saturday, Feb. 10th – so mark your calendars.  We will provide more info as it comes closer.

On October 13th, as the Centenary of Our Lady of Fatima came to a close we honored Our Lady – with hymns, prayers, and acts of reparation to her Immaculate Heart.  It was on this day as well that Bishop Olmsted consecrated our diocese to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  We were all joined in prayer with the Bishop and the entire Diocese.
