Learn of Me Discernment Retreat

LEARN OF ME is a women’s vocational discernment retreat hosted by the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration at Our Lady of Solitude Monastery in Tonopah, AZ.  Each retreat focuses on a different theme that is relevant to the discernment journey.  LEARN OF ME offers participants a unique encounter with the Poor Clares and their way of life.

Tentative Retreat Schedule

  • 10 a.m. – Welcome

  • 10:45 a.m. – Reflection with Sr. Mary Fidelis followed by Q&A

  • 11:30 a.m. – Break

  • 12:00 p.m. – Lunch & Fellowship

  • 1 p.m. – Reflection with Sr. Mary Brigid, followed by Q&A

  • 1:45 p.m. – Break

  • 2:15 p.m. Guided Meditation

  • 2:30 p.m. Eucharistic Holy Hour

  • 3:30 p.m. – Sharing of Graces

  • 4 p.m.  – Depart

Please Note: Retreat Participants are encouraged to extend this retreat by arriving early!  The Chapel opens at 6:45 a.m.  Holy Rosary followed by Divine Office begins at 7 a.m. and Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8 a.m.  A light breakfast will be offered after Mass.

Before and after the retreat, (when possible) a priest will be available to hear confessions, the nuns will be available for one-on-one meetings to offer accompaniment in your discernment journey, and there will be Eucharistic Adoration.

Participants are invited to join the Nuns in praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and the Divine Office beginning at 4:45 p.m.  The Chapel will remain open until 5:30 p.m.

This Retreat Is Open To:

Single women between the ages of 18-35 who are practicing Catholics and are open to discerning consecrated life and experiencing the Poor Clare charism.
