Today is the feast of St. Kateri Tekakwitha.. She is a favorite of many of the Sisters and even has a home in one of our stained glass windows in the Chapel. Let us ask the “Lily of the Mohawks” to intercede for us. Like her may we be single-hearted, determined, and fully surrendered to the God of Love. She was received into the Church just four years before she died. In that short amount of time, she became a model of faith, hope, and love – she became a saint. May she intercede for us – that in the time we have been given, we too will prefer nothing to the Love of Christ.

Hi Sisters!
I was wondering if you have any holy cards with this picture of St.
KATERI and the quote: “I am not my own; I have given myself to Jesus, He must be my only love.” ? I keep it as my screen saver but would like to have a copy. I am on your mailing address for snail mail of your newsletters: 1105 W. 8th St. Wilmington, DE 19806 Thank You for consideration of my request. I would be happy to give you a donation for a copy. Thank You kindly! Love and prayers, Sr. Bernice
My Kateri was named after St. Kateri. She was blessed then. We celebrated on her canonization! We know that St. Kateri has blessed our daughter many times. St. Kateri’s strong faith in God and love of Jesus is a great example for all. Thank you for honoring St. Kateri with a window.
