Prayer to the Holy Angels (from the Byzantine Liturgy)
“O leaders of the heavenly armies, although we are always unworthy, we beseech you that with your prayers you may encircle us with the protection of the wings of your angelic glory. Watch over us as we bow low and earnestly cry out to you: Deliver us from trouble, o princes of the Heavenly armies.”
A Prayer to One’s Guardian Angel
“O Guardian Angel, whom God in His infinite mercy has appointed over me, enlighten, protect, direct, and govern me this day. Amen.”
Prayer to Mary, the Queen of Angels and all the Holy Angels
“O Queen of Angels and you holy choirs of Angels to whose keeping has been confided the Tabernacle where rests the Most Precious Pledge of the Love of God for man, protect the Most Blessed Sacrament from all irreverences, sacrileges, and the onslaught of the wicked, and preserve Him for loving hearts until the day of eternity. Amen.”
“Majestic Queen of Heaven and Mistress of the Angels, thou didst receive from God the power and commission to crush the head of Satan; wherefore we humbly beseech thee, send forth the legions of heaven, that under thy command, they may seek out all evil spirits, engage them everywhere in battle, curb their insolence, and hurl them back into the pit the hell. ‘Who is like unto God?’ O good and tender Mother, thou shalt ever be our hope and the object of our love. O Mother of God, send forth the holy Angels to defend me and drive far from me the cruel foe. Holy Angels and Archangels, defend us and keep us. Amen.”
